Rebecca Hallman was born in Felda, Florida and raised in Hernando County, Florida. In 2008, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences with a minor in Education from the University of Florida. Upon graduation, she began working for Children’s Medical Services in the Social Work department. In this role, she was able to assist medically needy children and their families to obtain social services that allowed for better health outcomes. While at this job, Ms. Hallman realized her desire to become a nurse that focused in Public Health. In 2014, she graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a State of Florida licensed Registered Nurse in the same year. Prior to joining Langley Health Services (LHS), she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Tampa, FL) in a medical-surgical unit and at another FQHC, Premier Community Healthcare (Dade City, FL), as a RN in the Nurse Family Partnership program.
Ms. Hallman joined LHS in 2015 as a RN Team Lead, was promoted to Director of Nursing and Operations in 2016, and most recently, promoted to Associate Chief Operating Officer in 2021. While in these roles at LHS, she has remained committed to assisting in the improvement of the day-to-day operations at all clinics, improving the quality of care that every patient receives, and building a strong employee team.
