Why did you choose healthcare as a career path: I chose healthcare as my career path due my very sick Mom. I went with her to all of her medical appointments and that made me want to be a Physician. Originally, I wanted to be a Cardiologist, but after my mother passed away at 48 years old due to a missed diagnosis, I decided to be a Pediatrician to take care of children at a young age so no diagnoses are missed for them.
